At EfA, Ana is teaching conversational English to a range of age groups and proficiency levels including Business English. Prior to joining us in 2017, Ana taught English in Mainland China and worked as a Portuguese-English translator and proofreader.

Her experience in teaching is far reaching, from teaching secondary learners, university students, teachers, and adults in the corporate sector in Macao. Prior to joining the teaching team , Felisita taught English at the Institute for Tourism Studies, Escola São Paulo, Colégio Diocesano de São José and the University of St. Joseph . In addition to English, Felisita speaks six other languages.

In a teaching career spanning over 18 years, John has mastered the skill to engage students by tapping into their needs and interests whilst having real-life conversations to stimulate natural language development. John has been involved in many projects, including the planning and preparation of event days, overseeing and coordinating the development of our ENGLISH CLUB syllabus and teaching on many projects, in both our Learning Centre and at local schools. Prior to joining us in January 2014, John taught English in Taiwan.

She brings a unique blend of creativity and communication skills to her teaching, making her classes engaging and dynamic. Her strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills enable her to effectively tailor lessons to meet individual student needs. "I enjoy helping my students build English skills to improve their school performance. My classes focus on guided pair discussions using prompts. Students discuss a topic or picture in pairs, then present their unique ideas to the class, with no two presentations alike. I always praise the most creative ones, helping students speak naturally, use their current English skills and develop creativity and critical thinking for school projects.
To help students improve and reduce reliance on memorisation, students learn to organise key ideas into mind maps for confident class presentations. To keep learning fun and engaging, we incorporate games that reinforce grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure."
